It is a huge waste to not fully utilise a person’s passions, talents and intelligence. According to Albert Einstein, “There exists a passion for comprehension, just as there exists a passion for music. That passion is rather common in children, but gets lost in most people later on. Without this passion there would be neither mathematics nor natural science.”
Often, ambition makes us strive for success without realizing the direct personal consequences or those for the people around us. Of course passion is not the answer to everything, but forms a very solid basis.

Latent conflicts between employees, tension within project teams, friction between entire departments or a lack of identification with the company’s values or objectives – these are just a few examples of unrealised potential, which can compromise a company’s success. These problems are always related to people, but are often difficult to recognise because the processes usually take place on a subconscious level.
The effects, however, are visible. They include:
- reduction in productivity
- difficulty in reaching aims
- missing orientation
- lack of motivation
- stagnant work processes
- information deficit
- and even an increase in sick days
which can, in turn, affect the economic success of the company.
However, the other side of the coin is that it is possible to make use of this potential to run a successful business with passionate people. Passion is, of course, no guarantee for success, but it is a very good starting point. I support you in your journey to discover and use this potential.
